As the admin of the branded job board, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Introduce the job board to your community members and encourage them to participate.
- Collect logos and company descriptions from members and add them to the platform. For companies with a Workable account, the logo and company description will be taken from their Workable company profile.
- Update members about their implementation status or any blockers in the process.
- Review, update and approve new jobs posted by community members on the platform.
Review jobs
For each job that gets added by a member, you will have to review it and approve or reject it. You can use the below checklist as a reference:
- Ensure that the jobs are aligned with the platform's purpose.
- If the job gets automatically reposted through web scraping, you can edit the posting and:
- Correct any formatting issues (gaps between paragraphs, etc)
- Remove any text directing the candidates to apply externally of the platform (this is common for scraped jobs). For example, the original job posting on the member’s careers page could end with something along the lines: “To apply to this position, send your resume to HR@acme.org”. This line must be deleted - as it will most likely confuse the candidates.
If a job is edited or updated, you must review it again to ensure it is still appropriate for the job board.
Under the Jobs tab > For review, you will see all newly published jobs from your member companies. From this page, you can:
-
Click the job title to review a job
-
Take immediate action (approve/reject)
-
View already approved/rejected jobs
On the job page, click Edit job to make any needed changes (based on the above checklist and if the job is coming through web scraping). Once ready, save your changes and approve the job.
Manage company profiles
For member companies without a Workable account:
- You should collect logos and company descriptions and add them to the platform
- Make any updates requested by member accounts
Under the Accounts tab, you can:
- Click the company name to open the editor for company details
- See the way of posting for each company (Web scraping, Manual entry, Has workable)
- See how many active jobs each company has
- See how many features jobs each company has
The company editor is split into several tabs, so you can manage different aspects of your accounts.
Account Details
Here you can edit the company name, logo, website, and description.
Job Posts
Here you are able to see the job posting method of the account. For the 'Web Scraping' and 'Manual entry' posting methods, you can edit the Recruiter Email that the member is using to access the backend for receiving candidates, featuring jobs, etc.
Note: When you update the recruiter email for an account, the previous email's access is revoked and all new candidates are directed to the new email. A new invitation email with a magic link is sent to the new email.
If you need assistance editing something, please contact vertical@workable.com.
Sponsor
Sponsored companies setting enables you to highlight member companies on the homepage. First, enable sponsorship, and then choose the tier of a company. There are three categories:
- Gold Sponsor, which is the highest ranking on the sponsored companies section, with up to two (2) slots
- Sponsor, the second tier of the sponsored companies section, with up to three (3) slots
- Supporter, the third tier of the sponsored companies section, with up to seven (7) slots
From this page, you can also change the tier of a company or disable sponsorship.
Jobs
This is a sublist of the JOBS tab (previous section), filtered to the company you are viewing at the time. This helps filter and view jobs per company and manage them from there.
